Ok, we all know that we can become aware of being in the SP state.
And from what I gather, we only dream during REM sleep and then
SP kicks in so we don't act out our dreams while sleeping. We can
wake up in the middle of a dream and still find ourselves in SP.
My question is this:
A lot of times we can wake up in the middle of a dream because maybe
a noise or an alarm wakes us up. Why is it that most times when we wake
up in the middle of a dream, we are not still in SP??
This morning I woke up in the middle of a dream when my alarm went off,
and I was not experiencing SP at all. If I were dreaming still, then shouldn't
I still have been in SP?
