I've experienced dreaming the future several times about the same thing. (luckly none of you know me so I am willing to share)

about 6-7 times i had dreams that would come true the next day (about a girl, every night before she'd show up at my house, or I'd pass her and have a chat, I'de dream of her.

It's understandable that I'de dream about her alot since she was always on my mind

the last dream was us dancing (at our wedding). Of course we danced the next day, I have yet to see if that will come true.

It's arrogant and if you think about it makes absolutely no sense (because you are attacking the persons character rather than making valid arguments to prove your stance on what is being discussed.)

Closed minded to what exactly? your way of thinking?
That's a little selfish isn't it, assuming that just because YOU think something is right that others must be closed minded because they disagree?

It is more "closed minded" to assume something is correct on belief and how "right it feels to you", than to want to see hard won evidence, proof and repeatability of something before making an opinion.

For example, i'd LOVE to believe in ghosts, it would be amazing if it were true. However just because i really would love it to be true does not mean that i am going to believe in it without some hard facts. I'd much rather see evidence to prove that there is something going on than to be arrogant and assume my wants and needs are more important that the study and investigation of millions of scientists.

Also, i like to be able to back up my view on the world, with evidence. I don't have to say "you're small minded" to someone who dosn't have the same opinions as me, because I can back up my opinions with evidence.

Using terms like small minded is a mindless argument designed to insult rather than enlighten. I'd go as far to say that only a closed minded individual would ever use the term "closed minded" seriously.

There is one question you can ask someone that will establish if they are open minded or not... "With sufficient evidence would you be willing to change your mind?"

I would, on any subject. Almost all scientists would too.
Very few spiritualists seem to agree... because, well there is already sufficient evidence to the contrary of what they believe.

      1) Your arguements with each other will go in circles, so just let it go. Also, it's distracting from the subject of the thread. that's my two cents on that.

      2) To reply to the original question at hand,

that's all I've got to say about that.

I think if we share a similar experience, that's really cool because I've never talked to anyone who else who has these experiences. I think it's less fortune telling than possibly a memory issue: Look up "Holonomic Brain Theory" on wikipedia. It's a chore to read and understand, but it makes sense.
