      Lucid during Non-REM sleep?

Is is possible? From what I've read, during non-REM sleep dreams are typically brief fragments that tend to be less clear.

Last night I was having some of these repeated fragmented dreams and I became aware that they were dreams. However if I tried to do anything at all I would wake up. Even thinking about it would wake me up. Here's an excerpt from my DJ:

It was an extremely short dream repeated over and over again. It was some lady that was sitting on my raised central kitchen counter telling a group of us in my apartment what needed to be cleaned and how long we had to do it. I can't remember what my task was, but it was only a 2 minute task. I finished it my task and sat down on the only object I noticed in my apartment, my bed. My bed was in my living room though in a corner near the window around where my couch should be. Then realized it was a dream, but that woke me up.

I looked at the clock and saw it was only about an hour and a half since I went to sleep (just after 2 am) realized it was early in the night and that this probably wasn't REM sleep yet, but I decided to try to DEILD anyway.

But I just ended up in the dream again and it was the same as always. Just some lady telling everyone what to do. I knew when I got into the dream that it was a dream this time, so I suppose you could say I did a DEILD, but once If I tried to do anything beyond just sit on my bed and listen to this lady, I would wake up. Maybe you just can't LD in Non-REM sleep. So I spent the next few hours having this replay in my head and knowing that it was just a dream, but I couldn't do anyingthing . Of course it didn't feel like two hours since it was non-REM sleep.
So has anyone actually been lucid during what should be are appears to be non-REM sleep? Do you think it's possible?

this could be that you were on the verge of entering the Rem state of sleep. The reason why the same scene kept repeating itself could be because your Rem state was not strong enough. With some time it gets stronger, thus unlocking full access to the dreamworld. You can now fully emerge yourself in a dream.

If we do dream during the deeper stages, then clearly it is extremely difficult to have any memory of them, let alone become lucid during them.

I definitely don't think what you described are non rem dreams, because our brains are measurably different from state to state, so the experience itself must also be entirely different. What we experience during the non rem stages I currently cannot comprehend, for all we know we are omnipresent or even completely OOB.
