      Controlling events in real life.

I have noticed in my years that I can make things in my life happen as I choose them. I can not control these events and would like some information as how to.
I.E. Lets say I am working and I am sub contiously thinking I want to get off early, or get a better job duty. I have noticed that every time I think this without any concious thought, and without realizing it is subconcious it come true every time. Yet when I put any type of thinking to the subconcious thought I just had, it does not happen.
I have tried all sorts of different things of my own, and can still not achieve the control of this. Has anyone ever heard of something pertaining to this topic and if so, have any advice, links, etc. to were I can research this more?
      I hope someone can help.

      perception creates reality.

Forcing it and bending it to your will.. thats another thing... there are a whole lot of other people out there that wish things as well....

Thats why wishing you win the lotto dosent work.. to many others wishing the same thing.

but as for job related and the average everyday, the wish that has the least though has the most power for some reason... you are more likely to win a contest or sweepstakes when it catches you by surpirse the miniute you actually consiously wish for it you chances decline for some reason..

      umm yeah.. sutfff. hehe

OK everybody, wish for me to win the lotto!

Seri made an excellant point, perception....

Do you ever find yourself disappointed because something you subconciously wanted did not occur?

That is the other side to what you are describing.

      Good Question,

Is there any way to extend the power of the dreaming realm into reality?

I've tryed many times, Mostly nothing happens, But one thing that I can see some improvement in, isTraffic lights, whenever I'm driving with my brother and theres alot of traffic lights, I focus on keeping them green
I clear my mind, and picture only the traffic light, Then concentrate on it being green, Staying green. Many times, seth has been like. " whoa thats a REALLY long light." Now, I don't believe in coincidense. But thats just my experience.

      Any other thoughts?

      Traffic lights!
      I have no powers
I concentrate fiercely on all the little old ladies that block the aisles at Wal-Mart. Nothing happens, they still do not move!

And dont forget the drifters in the mall those drive me nuts, what you cant walk in a straight line!

Well I suppose getting loaded before venturing into the mall helps ease the pain

The trick is not to think about it =) and it usualy works, i know that dosent make any sense, but its like moving your body...

      THINK about it...

no really try to determine what thoughts you need to make your body move TRY and make your finger move.. it dont work...

It just moves you cant consiously make it move though. I duno if I explained that right...
Oh.. ok hold your hand out in front of you and touch your thumb to your pointer finger.. it requires no thought to do it just happens, now try and isolate the thought that actually makes it happen.. you cant there isint one..

Its like that with the stuff around you you cant think to make it happen you just have to make it happen.

Thanks for putting some thought into my serious question.

That was the best explanation I have read to date. With all the sarcasm being posted at my simple question, I was beginning to wonder if a real look into my question was possible.
Thanks for your logical assessment of my understanding of the potential mind control I feel exists. I unfortunately as well as the vast majority have no control of this which is why individuals as myself are trying to gain any type of information relating to something I feel is truly a real phenomenon.
I have my own experiences which I believe to be real. Regardless of anyone else’s beliefs, these are mine. Please leave any relevant information you can that may be of use to me on my quest to understand and control what I feel can be understood and controlled.
If you disagree, so be it. No need to lash out and discredit anyone’s beliefs in a rude manner. Be adult and logically explain your reasons for not agreeing with my views. This may also open my eyes to another view I may have overlooked.
Thanks to all who have seriously opened their minds to think of serious explanations and advice.

While this topic I talked of has been discussed many times before, it's still cool:

I've had a dream where it was just me and the most beautiful girl I've ever would have imagined in a plain white room, and I just sat there in all lucidness. And then the next day I met her . I swear, it was total deja vu. Minus the three ugly ones, heheh...

I see a car wreck happen in a dream, next day it's in the paper...

I situation in a paintball game...

The room number 112, then I visit it. My pastor brought up judgement day in his sermon briefly, then I was reminded of 2012 and thought that the room no. 112 == 1/12 == Jan. 2012 ==... yeah... coincidence?

Yeah, so woohoo... Call me ub3r off-topic man!

no sarcasm or rudeness intended Will

I have had absolutely zero success with what you are describing...and believe me, I have tried!
Guess that's why I am a little skeptical..

      OMG!
I attended a Microsoft MSDN seminar today!
We had drawings for door prizes. I thought I would try to passively affect the outcome.
First doorprize was a color PDA. My friend sitting nect to me won it.
He drew the next ticket, I WON A COPY OF VISUAL BASIC .NET!
I drew he next ticket, another friend of mine won a book!

Maybe there is somethin to this!

      Repy

As I have stated. I know this can be done. I can do it. I know I can do it. Yet as many have stated, control is the issue. Sub conscious power is awesome. If you can make things happen by thought, that’s cool.
Knowing our world is what our five senses are telling us is a vague picture. We interpret our reality by site smell taste touch and feel, i.e. the five senses.
I study psychology, and have learned there is more to thought than five senses. Many books say that as all electrical devices give off waves to be interpreted by other mechanical devices, so does mans brain. So if my brain gives off electrical signals and my mind is capable of reading my own electrical signals. Why can there not be another sense we simply do not comprehend exists that can comprehend one another’s electrical signals, i.e. brain waves, etc.? This is within a realm of possibility. So you see, I am pondered by these simple questions daily as I try to think of my simple life and its meaning.
My point, we are capable of so much more. I have known this since I was a young chap. I only need to be taught. I wish as we all seen in the movie fire starter (old 80's movie) there were people to help people to learn if what they thought were a real power was actually a real power or actually an imagined alter ego.
I am a Matrix addict. Yet as I am, I am open to all of the possibilities the Matrix offered well before the Matrix was ever released.
If you can understand the Matrix, and use it as a guide into real life events you may have experienced. This may help open doors to your mind you may never know existed such as f you can delete some of the movies facts, such as being a slave to a race of machines. A.I.
This is me. I always knew I held unique capabilities within myself. Although I know the Matrix and the following trilogies are non fiction. This helps to clear your mind to test other things one might feel he/she can do mentally.
This is were I am. I want to utilize what I believe and see if it can be controlled, or is it a fantasy such as the Matrix that can explain it so easily.
We must all answer this question ourselves.
Help me achieve my ultimate goal!

Masterwilliam, I beleive everyone can create their own realities, but many people fail to. You seem to have more control over what happens. Our lives are very subjective. The optimist enjoys life and the pessimist suffers through it. You expectations create your reality. Keep it up and report on your experiences.

It is Visual Basic .NET Standard. 2003 version.

It will be fun to play with, I never would have bought it for myself.

Looks like it is almost a real programming language now. I usually use C++, but from what I hear, they took features from C++ and VB 6.0 and combined them to make C#.
VB.NET looks like C# with a different face.

I tried the Pro trial I got when Win2k3 came out... I think they really got this developer stuff now. The next windows should run on a unix kernel like macs. They have enough money to stay outta trouble (or total crap) from the SCO.

What you guys talking about is what the New Age people refers to as affirmations. It's really cool and there's many things that proves that its really works. There's many ways to explain it though.

I haven't ever got it working right but maybe if i concentrate a little bit more.
