Thread: How can I prolong DILDs?

Hi all,

After weeks of no recall since my last WILD (Oct 11) last night while trying a WBTB I was lucky to have 2 DILDs. Now, the first one ended after a few seconds as I tried to fly straight off the bat while my second, after a number of times of rubbing my hands together, ended after around 30 seconds.

I know about the spinning technique to but I'm just wondering if there are any other actions I could do that wouldn't excite mt brain as much. For instance, when the second DILD faded out I was climbing. Do you guys and gals suggest I take my time and let the dream sink in first before trying stuff out?

Anything that could be helpful would be greatly appreciated.

Can't tell you for sure, because I'm not in your head. But try holding onto a kitten or drinking something hot - the reason spinning works is because it creates tactile sensations, so involve your sense of smell and especially touch.

I read somewhere that you should involve as many senses as possible, so what I used to do was lick the floor, smell the air, stare at my hands, etc.
If those don't work, then it might be because you're too excited.

thats what im working on now, but i cant remember it while lucid. I turn into superman haha, and have long, fun LDs, but i want to get all senses involved and really experience everything
