After figuring out a Lucid last night.

After I figured out I was in a dream last night, I couldn't control it. I was in a retro video game world (Dransik for those who know it), and even though I KNEW it wasn't real I couldn't control anything. I'm not quite sure how to get past this hump. I've controlled one dream my entire life and it was pretty easy that time (when I was 9, that was 10 years ago).

What do you guys do to control dreams, or rather are there any techniques that I could use to attempt to control dreams? I was pretty frustrated when I woke up this morning knowing I failed.

EDIT: I forgot to tell how I figured out it wasn't real. The items on the ground that I picked up were pixelated somehow and I tried drinking one of the pixelated potions and nothing came out of it.

Dransik classic? If so, mega LOL

Next time try to repeat, 'this is a dream' or 'im dreaming' a bunch of times and try to do a RC or rub your hands together. If you can do one or the other you already have some control. The 'im dreaming' thing should give you more lucidity, sometimes we realize we're dreaming but still think the dream is real and don't become fully lucid or lose lucidity all together and don't have any control over the dream.

      Good luck!

One thing to try to to give an explanation to why a dream power would work, so even when you think you wont have any control come up with an excuse. It works for me when I need it to.

Total lucids: 22 DILD(20) DEILD(1) semi lucid (6) objectives: attain perfect clarity [X] Grow a controllable tail [3/5] Fly[X] waterbend[ ] meet my dream guide[ ] change dreamscape[ ] perform a perfect Kamehameha wave[1/2] become my fursona [ ]
