After I figured out I was in a dream last night, I couldn't control it. I was in a retro video game world (Dransik for those who know it), and even though I KNEW it wasn't real I couldn't control anything. I'm not quite sure how to get past this hump. I've controlled one dream my entire life and it was pretty easy that time (when I was 9, that was 10 years ago). |

Next time try to repeat, 'this is a dream' or 'im dreaming' a bunch of times and try to do a RC or rub your hands together. If you can do one or the other you already have some control. The 'im dreaming' thing should give you more lucidity, sometimes we realize we're dreaming but still think the dream is real and don't become fully lucid or lose lucidity all together and don't have any control over the dream. |

One thing to try to to give an explanation to why a dream power would work, so even when you think you wont have any control come up with an excuse. It works for me when I need it to. |
