Thread: Does everyone remember thier first lucid dream?

The first thing you did in your first lucid dream.... was to cut off your own arm? thats.... umm....err... couldn't you have just tried to fly like everyone else?.... anyway,

Man, that was so long ago. I probably just looked around a little and then woke up.
I'm not much into self mutiliation..

Well, I have only done it twice. It was something I wanted to try just to see what it was like.

I basically did nothing. just got really happy. I remember everything...

this thead comes up alot under every forum...

anyway, in mine, i was flying!

Ohh thats impossible to remember, i mean i was a kid, but you dont really think about it i gues. The first lucid were i actually knew it was called that way? I used telekenisis to move things around i think, not sure..

on my first ld, i didnt even know what it was back then, i tried to wake myself up by slapping myself

I was in a cartoon town talking to a pink elephant. Suddenly I realize I was dreaming and everything disappeared and went black. After a while I woke up.

I was about six years old I guess.

Six!! Jeez man, I was almost 30 when I had my first one!!!!

I didn't even know such things existed until I was in my 20's.!!

Oh well, my son shows all signs of being an great LDer. He has even had a few and he is 11!

I had one when I was eight. I was in my townhouse, got that "awe" feeling and did breaststroke up to the ceiling (which was quite high, as the townhouse had a loft) and hit my head then woke up. Yay.

mine was at seven. Silver Sphere beat me to it

btw silver, what is that shiny globe thing (And don't just tell me it's a silver sphere )?

i had mai first one like 4 days ago.. ha ha

it only lasted for a little while tho... i tried flying didn't werk.. all i could do was jump up really high its probably cuz i expected that i would fall down... o well i hope i'll get another one soon...

I can fly a little bit, but not as much as I could when I was younger...

My first LD was so short lived, I don't really consider it a LD. As soon as I realized I was LD, I woke up. But now I walk around and talk with the people of my dream world. I really wish I could remember what they tell me and I'd like to also remember the writings I see in my dreams.

In mine, i was sleeping in my neighbor's bed - and in the dream I got up and went to the bathroom. I had just seen Waking Life a couple of times and started reading up a bit on how to do it (I never did it naturally when I was younger - you guys that could are really lucky, hope you appreciate it.) So I quite naturally flipped off the light switch and realized it didn't go off. Woohoo! Hurray! Yay, Mom, I'm a lucid dreamer.
Then I slowly walked toward the kitchen (the bathroom is right in between the kitchen and the bedroom) and peeked in and up. The room was totally dark but i could see little designs on the ceiling - very dark ones though. It was like i was so excited to be lucid dreaming that my mind went blank on what to create. Or something. Then I got really excited and woke up in my neighbor's bed. I do not, however, remember my 3rd through 7th or 8th lucids. Probably cuz I didn't write em down.
