Thread: My first experience

Greetings all, I am a newcomer to Dream Views and have been reading generously over much of the content on this website this past weekend. It has inspired me and opened me up to the world of dreams which made me think in ways I have not before. I feel I am naturally alright at recalling dreams; I seem to not have much problem at all.

Last night I attempted a WILD after preparing myself in the evening by reading over various guides. So I had about 5 hours of sleep and I woke up...refreshed myself a small bit with some water and proceeded to go into a WILD. I was laying there still, yet relaxed and was concentrating on my breaths and the blackness of my closed eyes. Then, when I started to deeply visualize a scene, my body started to become quite tense and my heart immediately started pumping quite fast. It felt like my eyes were blinking fast as well, even though they were shut. Although this was kind of freaky, I remained concentrated on the visualization I had, hoping I would enter a dream. After a while longer, I stopped and decided it would be best to post here later and see if I did anything wrong or what I was experiencing.

Was is SP? It was kind of neat but I just want to get myself on the right track as a newcomer.
