      Control over your physical body?

I'm new to lucid dreaming and recently discovered a weird consciousness of my real life body whenever I go lucid. I remain asleep, but I am able to figure out the position of my body. The other night I experienced this again and tried to move. I was dreaming at the same time, so it felt almost like conducting. I tried to lift an arm but was unable, probably due to sleep paralysis. However, I think I was able to clench my hands. This may have just been in my head, but I'm pretty sure it was real. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it's real? What are the limits? Voluntary sleepwalking would be awesome!

I sort of experience something similar. I can't figure out what position I'm in, but I can sort of feel both my physical parts and my dream parts, and like when I move a dream arm I feel it in my real arm too, so there's some sort of balance with it.

Only way to be sure is to get a friend to watch you sleep while you try this to see if you actually move. I don't know many people devoted enough to sit there, night in and night out waiting for me to become lucid, so a video camera works just as well.
