      does recording your dreams...

reduce the number of wakeups with my problem. I'm finding I can LD pretty good without keeping a dream journal but it seems my thoughts, eye movements, feeling of swallowing the "magic pill", basically anything that can substract my attention from the dream overwrites it and wakes me up right where everything gets good.

No it is not the excitement, nor is it the dream ending. Am I correct to think if I record my dreams the world will become much more immersive than my thoughts? I really like to solve this problem, it's caught me 3 times in a row this morning...

recording is how i got my first LDs. though i havent had an LD in a while, and i havent recorded in a while..coincidence--i think not
Do not try and bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends

      it is only yourself

I have found that vividly and descriptivly recording my dreams in my dream journal (DJ) seems to help me have more vivid and involved dreams. I think it somehow helps my subconscious know that I want vivid and complex dreams. Try keeping a good DJ for a while and see if it works the same for you!
