To see a baby in your dream, signifies innocence, warmth and new beginnings. A love affair may be blooming for you in your near future. You will also make new and fun friends. Babies may symbolize something in your own inner nature which is pure, vulnerable, and/or uncorrupted.

To dream of a crying baby, is indicative of a part of yourself that is deprived of attention and needs some nurturing.

If a woman dreams she is nursing a baby, she will be deceived by the one she trusts the most.

To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. Perhaps there is something that you need to see grow and nurtured.

To dream that you are watching children but they do not know you are there, is a metaphor for some hidden knowledge or some latent talent which you have failed to recognize.

To save a child, signifies your attempts to save a part of yourself from being destroyed.

Right will... With that statement it must also mean that if I have pizza in my dream I like pizza. Dream meanings are only personal like paperdoll said. Not everyone will have the same meaning, they will just be similar.

the problem is it's none of those. she didn't just see one, she didn't dream of a crying baby, she didn't dream of nursing one. (and it had nothing to do with children either) she has dreams of HAVING a baby, or being pregnant, and sometimes being a surrogate mother.

i think everyone should come up with their own dream interpretation, because no one can fully step into your shoes.

Listen guys, Paperdoll simply asked for some comments. I agree that its all personal, but he asked for some help. I believe in interpretations and I also believe that everyone will have different meanings for them. With that said, nun of you guys have done any better. Im sorry if my comments arent good enough for you Paperdoll.

I'd have to know the context, but here goes...

Does she have a lot of worries on her mind? Maybe she's afraid of disappointing someone she's trying to help? Or maybe it signifies some sort of 'new beginning' she's striving for, but it seems out of her reach (hence the surrogate mothering--giving birth for someone else). She might feel like she's making heavy sacrifices in her life. Like I said, I'd have to know the context of the images to make better suggestions.

The dream just starts out that way, or what?

I'm not sure, I met her at an appointment, I'll be seeing her again in a week..
