      dream diary- tires the brain?

the first time I stopped my dream diary is because the longer I kept it, even though recall kept getting better I keep having a non-painfull hangover, if you will, as if my brain is thirsty or something-drained- hard to explain, also as if the brain is exhausted- not from thinking- thinking is fine, but as if the "structure" of the physical brain is tired. probably sounds weird but that's the best I can describe it. having the same effect this time but determind to push on. Anyone else experience something similar?

It helps to write the dreams down in the same position as you were sleeping. Thats why its good to keep a paper notepad by the bed. If you get up it may be harder to remember it all. If you get fatigued then lay back down and close your eyes and try to remember the dream. If you can't remember try to just grab one detail and focus on it and the dream should come back to you. Then write it down. Other than that I'm not sure I can help.

yeah I do that and it's awesome, even made a special alarm Anyhow woke up today even though I only slept 4 or so hours and feel quite refreshed- could be I was oversleeping or something and that was causing the brain fatigue.
