For those who THINk they've LD'ed...

For all you guys who are really good at lucid dreaming, how real does it feel when you're deep into it? because whenever I manage to get ahold of my dreams and realize im not awake, everything slowly starts to fall apart, my senses go away, and I wake up. (Imagine Joel's memory erasure in ESOTSM to see what i'm talking about, i'll be sitting there, realize i'm dreaming, and the room will start collpasing around me. Chairs will fall throught the floor, walls tear back, my arms disappear and I fall through the floor into conciousness.) Its trippy stuff, but when I realize its a dream, it all seems like i'm in a dark room, and i'm visualizing all these things in front of me, instead of actually seeing them. Does it actually look and feel like you're awake?

Because if it does, or if its possible to highten the realism, I can only imagine the alternate lives I could lead.

What you describe is a point that I got stuck on for quite some time although I could maintain stability longer than you the same thing always happened. Eventually there will come a point when you can let the dream you become lucid in fall apart then fully create your own dreamscape and you will be there standing in the middle of it :-)

If you want to have a chat about it pm me somtime.
