My heart starts beating fast whenever I realize I'm in a dream.

Knowing that I am in a dream has only happened to be a couple of times, but when it does happen, my heart starts to beat really fast. Because of this, I wake myself up because fuck that. Is there a way to stop this stuff from happening?

Oh gob, I just woke up from a dream a couple of minutes ago. I realized I was in the dream but I was like fuck that because I couldn't move. Why didn't I just stay in the dream? ;_;

that happened to me in my first ld's too, it's due to the excitement. It will go away, nowadays when i get lucid it's no longer like "AMAGAAAD AWESOME!!!", it's more like "Im dreaming. Nice."

How can one avoid this? I have a high LD count but all of them (including an undocumented 6th one, which only lasted like 5 seconds) lasted a very short time.

This latest one happened when I was running on all fours. I looked down at my body and saw what I was doing and then realized I was dreaming. I kept strolling along for another couple of steps and then woke up fully.
