      Lucid dreaming and sleep apnea

Is there any research to suggest that people who suffer from sleep apnea, or even severely heavy snorers, cannot lucid dream?

I've had lucid dreams that were interupted by my snoring. I put on a Breatheright strip before I go to bed. You could also wear earplugs so you don't hear yourself.

That wouldn't help the apnea part, since that will wake you up altogether.

The best thing to do in that case is get a breathing apparatus to help with the apnea.

Everyone can Lucid Dream. But things, like snoring or apnea, can get in the way, I think.

If you are troubled by sleep apnea I would recommend you tell your doctor and get an appointment set up with a sleep lab. It is their job so you would be able to ask them many questions that you have at the time and take advantage of the situation. The reason I recommend this is one of my friends just died from sleep apnea a few weeks back. Out of the blue he went to sleep and didn't wake up.
