what do you think about this?

I have been having a dry spell for a very long time. I got out of trying to have a lucid dream and then got back into it. But since I have been trying I have not had much success which is very weird for me because the very first time I tried I succeeded 100% and I thought it was easy. I like wild's.
Here is my question. The other night I had a dream that I was flying around. Like superman. Just flying. Not headed anywhere specific. But I believe that I had a lucid dream but kind of feel like I dreamed I had one. It's weird because I know I made decisions as if I was aware but don't remember thinking I was aware. I remember as I started becoming more aware of the dream the flying got harder. Like when i landed I couldn't take off again. So I remember forcing control saying "This is my mind, I can do what I want" And then I took off again. But it was still hard. The point is that I feel like I have had several dreams that I was having a lucid dream but never really achieved full awareness. It feels like a dream within a dream. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

That's a dream where you probably became lucid but just don't recall it as well. I have those once in awhile, I'll wake up and remember being lucid but remember it as a not-so-vivid dream.

(directed at the original post) I know what you mean! I always have lucids like that and wonder if I should count it as a lucid dream in my signature lol

Its like, I know I'm dreaming but at the same time I don't. Yeah, my brain works weird in dreams. I also _always_ forget what it was that I "wanted to do", tried autosuggestion writing it down, etc.

Absolutely, and the best thing to do for dreams like that is to get yourself into the habit of doing reality checks as you tell yourself that you are dreaming and to just stabilize the hell out of a dream to make yourself as lucid as possible, otherwise you may just lose it or do some partially-lucid craziness ( man I hate that).
