      Weirdest Dream Ever

Ok, I had this dream a few years back and it still weirds me out and confuses me GREATLY. Thanks to the weirdness I can still remember it vividly.

So I'm at some random party in a backyard, it's dark out and there's a bonfire. While there, I'm having drinking a beer and having a random conversation with a blonde girl I don't know or recognize. At some point in the conversation, I sip my beer and take a look around at the party. This is when I realized I was dreaming because the people attending the party didn't make sense.
At the time, I was working for a news show on PBS and I saw one of my co-workers, Mike, there talking with someone I knew in Junior High, Ben or Albert (not sure he was a twin). This didn't make sense because Mike was in his mid-thirties and Ben/Albert was a nobody-drug dealer in his early twenties who was in Mexican jail for killing someone in a drunk driving accident. So it did not make sense for them to be in the same social circle.
Now this is where it gets weird... because I realized that I was dreaming and I interrupted the blonde girl and I said, "OK, I know I'm dreaming this... so don't bullshit me. What's it like being a character in someone else's dream?" I asked.
"I'm sorry but I can't answer that question right now," she responded. WTF?????????
I was so confused I woke up. I normally can't talk about this dream out loud because most people think I'm crazy... even though it was just a dream.

congratz dude you had a Lucid Dream! With training you can have those quite often- visit the tutorials section and read up about reality checks, dreamsigns, DILD and WILD. Oh and keep a dream journal to remember your dreams otherwise it will be pointless That is if you want to have such dreams again. Yeah it's hard to explain to most ppl who have never experienced it I just try to describe it as "dream control" - sounds cool and more 'normal'.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
