That depends what technique you use. If you WILD a lot, you might end up losing some sleep. If you do DEILD or DILD (MILD, CST etc.) You probably won't. |

Could someone please tell me if you can lose sleep whilst lucid dreaming? I'm all up for trying the methods, but will i get less sleep by doing these things? The reason for this is that I'm often very busy and I don't want to be tired when i'm doing jobs. |

I don't think you do. Your brain is as active while you are asleep as it is during the day. Having a lucid dream in which you control it will not cause your brain to work any more then it already is. Now maybe if you are trying to WILD or WBTB you might since these mostly involve waking up during the night, staying awake for a bit then heading back to bed (which is why so many people say to only WILD or WBTB on nights when you have the next day off) Other then that I am going to say, no you will not be effected at all. |
