What is your stupidest missed lucid opportunity?

Just last night I had a dream where I noticed something odd that happened. Nothing that couldn't happen in real life, but it was still odd. I mentioned it to my brother and jokingly asked if this was a dream. He replied, "yeah." I looked at my hand and it was normal so I told him "No. No it isn't." He said, "Yes it is!" I refused to believe him because I thought he was just messing with me since he knows I'm into lucid dreaming. That was the first time the hand RC failed for me, and it was the first dream I had that I really needed a RC to definitively say it was in a dream. The dream just felt so real. I felt so stupid when I woke up. So what is your stupidest missed lucid opportunity?

One dream I had, I was at the curb saying goodbye to a couple in a car. As they pulled away the women mentioned how she was going to try for another LD when she got home. I thought to myself "Wow, I wish I knew she was into LDing"! Also, I've often had deams where I knew it was a dream but didn't become lucid.

My 1st lucid dream. I'm not sure it's good enough, but when I discovered I was dreaming I immediately got distracted by a dc who asked me if I like egg-pudding, and then I woke up.

While dreaming i was walking with a close friend then i started to rub my hands together, he asked me what i was doing and i told him i was trying to stabilize my dream he replied with "oh alright, that makes sense" and then we just kept walking and talking like a normal day.

Dexter was hosting a reality TV show for people dreaming. Th whole point was that we were in a dream. He tried to WILD but moved on to some other dream from there and lost Lucidity quickly. D'oh!

Mine was yesterday. I had an exam and saw an old friend there whom I haven't seen in years. That night I went to sleep normally but kept waking up and going back to sleep abruptly. The last time I slept I dreamed of playing soccer with this old friend in a place which was brought down a few years ago, and I knew that in the dream. He then tripped and fell down on his neck. His neck broke and it became loosely attached to his body and it looked disgusting, but he was like, "I'll fix it later, I just want to play now", and he kept on playing with a broken neck!!!!! That made me furious because I never had an LD before.

I know, it usually takes missed LD experiences before the dream mind can manage to understand that impossible events must be concluded as dreaming.
