      Yes, I've done it before. I was only able to remember a very small portion of the melody, and recorded it in my phone while I was still half asleep to ensure that I recorded exactly what I composed in the dream.

      The only issue with this is dream logic is VERY different than waking logic. The melody I wrote sounded random and weird compared to music I would normally compose.
