      Remembering a State of Control

I've noticed that whenever I become lucid I just don't think about how to use it anymore; All the thoughts of how to passively control my dreams or to "please" my subconscious with faulty logic to get something are just completely forgotten. A recent LD was quite literally wasted due to me trying to force things to happen right off the bat. This caused me to get frustrated and eventually wake up.

I think I've gotten a little better since then since I took my last LD a lot slower than usual but I'd still love some ways to remember things like that. The first things that usually come to my mind when I become lucid are things like flying, meeting people, or just going somewhere specific (Which I've never been able to do...YET).

I think you just need to make it a priority to remember certain control techniques. I'm not sure if there is much else to help with the problem.

The biggest thing is to never fret over anything, ever. That will only have negative effects (as you know). I can't stress that enough. Just take on LD'ing with a 'Bring it on!' attitude, and you should be fine.
Success comes to those who are not afraid of failing.

I'm sure for you that if you keep at it you'll get it an effective way to allowing it to naturally arise.
