      What does it mean to get adopted here?

      Ive seen people with signatures saying " adopted by _____ " or " adopted _____ "... what is adoption on here? I'm guessing it's like being adopted by a dream guide or something, but can you tell me what exactly it is about??

      It means you will have someone as a mentor to help you become used to the world of lucid dreaming, and can be there to give you advice, encouragement, and information to help you on your path to becoming an adept lucid dreamer.

      oh... I think I might need something like that, I haven't experienced a lucid dream yet, but I really want to! do you know anyone who might do that?

      Go to the adoption section of the forum and post a thread or look and see who has said they will adopt.
