are the objects in our dreams 3 dimmensional? |
|
if you want them to be 2d, they will be. Or if you want an anime type dream like(Bleach, or Naruto) then it will be so. you can only limit yourself because you are limiting yourself. I hope this helps. |

well i mean more like if objects that appear to be 3d in dreams are they really or just images? the 2d cartoon would actually make since because of you can't see around them. but this whole thing about 3 dimmensions in dreams is puzzling to me. |

Well when i have none lucid dreams(which sadly is all the time) i remember that all objects are 3d, i run around them, they have curves and i can feel, I remember just last night i had a dream where i was chasing someone, and somehow i ended up in this weird cage pool and i saw this lady in front of me working out. So i jump on this horse looking thing and attempt to work out, i could feel the curves and the pain, since it like pulled me hard on it i could feel my chest go, OOUCHH!!!! |

The dream world is a different form of reality. You can't apply 'dimensions' to it, because 'dimensions' are for the physical world. |

one thing I can say is I can definitely see depth, tell distance , have feelings of vertigo when jumping/flying so in that sense yes, but not as much depth as I see on my 3d LCD monitor, however I'm sure they can be either 2-dimensional or 8-dimensional with enough practice and imagination |

If you apply that idea to the dream world, why wouldn't you do the same to the real world. Not only is it the dream's "source files", but you also experience it the same way... you can walk, talk, fell, see and hear (most of the time) the same way as you do in waking life. The only thing that changes when you start dreaming is input, by that I mean from external input to internal. When you're awake you also see things in "2d". I mean is there some other way of seeing things? Is there such a thing called 3d vision where the 3d object is recreated in the eye and then totally sensed in the brain as it existed when you saw it? Well even if this is possible it's not so at the moment. When you see a thing a picture is made in the sense that the photons hit your photoreceptors. So you can only see in 2d. |

not true at all my good sir. close one eye and try walking around for a bit- try reaching behind objects so that your hand is as close as possible but without touching. Plus if 3d-vision didn't exist IMAX and also the company that makes my 3d monitor would go out of business |
