      Being sick and dreaming

This crappy winter weather has gotten me a fever, I'm bored and feel like shit, but I was thinking I might turn this around to a positive experience.

I am wondering if a fever state could influence your dreaming, is there any way I could use this influence to get lucid? Then this wouldn't be so bad after all

please share ideas and experiences and make my day

When I was having a fever when I was younger (haven't had one in many years now) I would get these insane dreams that was really vivid and really wierd. It's really tripping. I dunno how it would affect LD though, maybe it would make them more enjoyable.

Right now I am a little sick, not much, can still attend to school. But it really affects my dream recall... can't remember my dreams when I wake up. It just wake up with a head ache wondering what I have been dreaming about. When I lay there still and the dreams are suppose to start forming in my head, they just won't

Not directly related to being sick, but i almost always get extremely vivid and weird dreams when I take nyquil. Good lucid dreams too because I find it harder to wake up on accident.

Yeah, of course it depends on the person. Personally though, my dreams become extremely more vivid when I'm sick. (AS in, have a fever) Also, even more weird and unusual. I really like it though.

Thanks for all replies, i've been offline for while, being sick and all. I have also noticed(like many others) that my dreams are more vivid. Fourtunatly I havn't had the fever nightmares thogh, they are the worst!

I also seem to daydream more vividly for some reason, all in all it's nice
