How long do your WILDs last?

If you know me, then you I’m a WILDer. I haven't WILDed in a while because of college but I noticed that most of the WILDs that I have typically don’t last very long before I wake up. In fact, sometimes I wake up soon after I successfully WILDed. At first, I thought it was my excitement levels that were causing me to wake up, but as I WILDed more often and continued to awaken almost immediately, I realized that I was waking up in spite of being calm as a rock. I can’t think of any WILDs that I've had that lasted longer than a minute, more or less. So, to my WILDers out there, I want to know how long your WILDs last. I also want to know if a WBTB has any effects on the duration of your WILDs (if you WILD w/ and w/o WBTBs that is). Please feel free in sharing some techniques that you use for making your (WI)LDs last longer.

Not much, 5-10mins regularly, I'm more used to DILD and DEILD which should be why, also, I don't do anything special to make them last longer.

Much shorter and not at all as clear. I wish I could DILD more often but WILD just seems to come much easier for me, but I don't attempt it.

Yeah, a few days ago when I had my first WILD in a long time, it lasted about 20 to 30 minutes; it also went straight into the next dreams. I was pretty shocked. Much shorter and not at all as clear. I wish I could DILD more often but WILD just seems to come much easier for me, but I don't attempt it. I noticed that the first WILDs that I used to do lasted a very short duration; they were always crystal clear though. But I think you have to justtake things slow in a WILD and not rush into doing everything you want to rught away. It may or may not work but if you're good at WILDs, like me, then I think its worth a try.

Flatout vanilla WILD- a few seconds. DEILDs, probably about 5-10 minutes.

for me they can last for a few seconds to maybe 20 min but that's pushing it. What makes them great is that I chain them together(when one ends another begins)

I have only had two WILDS, the first one was 20 minutes (with a few false awakenings) and the second was 45 mins (with several FAs), after the FA I would still enter the same LD... I didn't thinik 45 was that long

Since I wake up before my REM, I should be able to get a good 20 or so minutes. ( haven't completed one, it ended up as a FA )

I've had 2 Wilds that lasted a minute or so. I've had one that lasted 5 to 10. I've had 2 which lasted as long as a normal DILD/MILD. I guess it depends on your frame of mind. The two short WILDS I was very excited. I didn't just wake up, the dreams destabilised and turned black first. I guess I should have taken the time to stabilise instead of immediately running off to explore.
