Keeping my finger on the pulse
Do you normally have a pulse in dreams? From memory, I don't believe I do. Could this be used as a reality check that doesn't require moving?

I've only had one dream that I recall where I checked my pulse. I had just run an obstacle course on a snowy mountain. The last part required me to swim through some icy water, but a guy said I couldn't because my pulse was too low. I checked it and it was very slow.

Yes, I can sometimes feel my pulse in my neck if I'm in a tense situation, and if my pulse really gets going, I can feel my heart beating in my chest.

ive never had a pulse while dreamin so that sounds like a good RC
