It sounds like your dream recall is going down, do you keep a dream journal? That would help.

Otherwise, you could be sleeping slightly different, causing less vividness in dreams.
      Bollocks.

To train ourselves to remember more dreams, the more dreams we remember, the better!

It's because if you're a natural LDer, and you read about how much trouble some people have, and all the things you "need" to do to LD, it makes everything seem harder, and it subconsciously affects your progress. This is the same reason, I think, that some people can have LDs easily if they just know what a LD is, and don't hear about all the things one "has" to do. For example many people have LDs the night they hear about it, before researching it.

      Also, DreamingDragon, it's to
      - Have a written record of all your dreams, so you can look back
      - Look for themes/dreamsigns to help you get lucid
      - Improve your dream recall

yeah there's a slight dilema regarding DV then- on the one hand visiting it can get you into the mindset of LD-ing, however again you read about how hard it is and stuff so it's a double edged sword.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

For the same reason I keep normal journal it shows my path and helps me with my introspection. Also, with keywords I can easily recall almost all my entries for last 4 years. Helps me re-creating those dreams if I want to.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

I've actually decided against keeping a dream journal. I don't really want to remember dreams all the time - I only want to deal with it when I lay down for that specific purpose, which is usually in the afternoon and never fails.
Life in a box is better than no life at all, I expect. You'd have a chance, at least. You could lie there thinking, "Well. At least I'm not dead.'
