does this make any sense ?

alright ive got to say Mild does work, i kept repeating that i would remember i was dreaming, and then when i was dreaming but i dont believe it was rem sleep, in my dream I realized i was dreaming, but i didnt have a lucid . Can you have lucid only during rem sleep or you can have it in non-rem as well.

There's no way for you to know whether or not you were in REM sleep, unless you have a device that is able to measure it.
If you know that you were dreaming, then you were lucid dreaming. No ifs, ands, or buts, that's the definition of the word. As long as you were dreaming and knew that it was simply all a dream, you were dreaming.
You can most certainly dream in NREM sleep stages.

im assuming it was non-rem because it was in the very beginning of the night, i realized i was dreaming but i couldnt create anything, my dream just kept on going, that why i was thinking it might have been non-rem
