dreams filled with LD topics, but not lucid!?

Last night i had 2 dreams, which were BOTH about lucid dreaming, but it never occured to me that I was dreaming?!?

in the first one i was buying lost of shiny stuff to put up in my garden, so that they could be my dreamsigns. I walked around putting 100's of them up and it all looked very nice (?!) but did I even once think to myself "Am I dreaming?" (NO!)

second dream; me and my wife were visiting one of her friends, i waited downstairs, and after a while my wife came back down and told me that she spoke to her girlfriend about my obsession for Lucid Dreaming. Her friend knew all about it already, she told me... and we talked a bit about LD. But did I ask myself if I was dreaming (NO!!!)

i take this as a good sign... my mind is filled up with the idea of LD, but just needs to take the next step inward to start asking the golden question...

(uh did i mention that my wife is actually one of my dreamsigns... didn't react to her either )

Yes, be more aware of your surroundings. Especially if you are talking or thinking about dreams. Do reality checks when those topics come up.

Reality check Reality check Reality check!
You should be doing sincere fullblown double backed reality checks any time it's possible you could be dreaming. Delpinus's link will help a lot, follow it.

Hell, I've had a dream where I was a guest in a show about Lucid Dreaming, talking about reality checks and even demonstrating them (didn't work) :/

You were probably not focusing or questioning reality. That is important during RCs.
