How do you dream about a subject, a theme, a fantasy in other words. Once I get lucid or really aware I start thinking too much and I am not sure that just by me saying 'hey, this is a dream, I can do whatever I want' and then all these characters I've been writing about appear and we have a good time. |

Bollocks.
You may just devote a whole day to that one subject. Find movies or shows that relate to your subject and spend some time watching them. |

Anime related dream... that's pretty interesting... I've had a couple LD's where I made the entire world in to cartoon/anime style(which is pretty weird, seing as one shouldn't be able to move around in 2D.) |

I have had success incubating scenes as I fall asleep. If I don't WILD directly into the scene, there is a good chance it will appear in my normal dreams. |

For me, the idea of focusing on one thing will probably work quite well, because for all the dreams I can remember for the past few years (though compared to you guys that isn't much ) my dreams are just mixtures of some of the prominent memories, actions, views and focuses of my day, but these are also main parts in most dreams. |
