Haven't you been talking to fellow LDers much yet? Mostly people feel elated, fear is a rarity.

All that said why do people actively remove the fear from a dream? It is your only opportunity to become comfortable with your own sense of fear and thus train better coping skills for real life. I kind of like being terrified in a LD its the only way to explore your sense of fear without having to put yourself in danger.

Hi Arutad I don't think you know me so I cannot imagine how you can have any idea of my forum history especially since it is possible to use multiple avatars and there are multiple forums. don't let my number of posts fool you on this login.

as for "fear is a rarity." I can say that my dreams are whatever my dreams are and if yours are different that's absolutely fine. after all isn't anything possible in an LD? isn't it possible to dream emotions and sensations...? I find it very disappointing that some people think your senses are just the basic five.
It is well documented that dream orgasms occur in normal dreams as well as lucid ones (read EWLD). so why not negative emotions?

And as for "really scared" again you don't know me. I have been assaulted twice. Investigated on suspicion of assault once. Had my hand trapped in the double hinges of an automatic closing door whilst someone who doesn't like me threatens to close the mechanism (which is technically a third assault). and been run over on my pushbike.

I really don't think you know me at all.
