      Lightbulb strange LD feeling.

last night i had the strangest feeling dream i thik i have ever had apart from my first lucid dream.

i ettempted to MILD using SP.

the thing is i didnt feel vibrations and i didnt get that 'giddy' feeling i usually get. so i just think hey, i fell asleep, i need to concentrate harder.
but then i started dreaming, but it was wierd, i knew i was dreaming, but the dream was like, infront of me and i couldnt grab it, i couldnt get into it. my mind was saying "go on! get in the fricken dream!" but i wasnt moving.

when i look back on it, i know i was trying to hard to get into the dream.
the usual "stop trying to hit me and HIT ME!" phrase comes to mind.

but was this a MILD? or nearly one.
      Thanks,
      Myke.

Try and be a little more patient.

A MILD is a mnemonic induced lucid dream, it means that you told yourself you would have a lucid dream, or used subliminal effects, or something similar. No, in my opinion this was not a MILD, or close. Try again~

You don't necessarily have to feel anything when in SP. I had full body SP and had a slight numbness, I've had it with full body vibrations, and I've had a weightless, none exsistant feeling as well.

When I did my first WILD (a couple days ago) I didn't get giddy either (the way I usually do), I was simply pleased that I had succeeded in a very calm, passive kind of way.

It sounds more like you were trying a WILD, not a MILD. And yeah, sometimes trying too hard is counterproductive.

And as far as replies go. You pretty much made a statement, not asked a question.
