      Little help

Ok, so I'm having lucid dreams about 1-2 times a month. The problem is, I don't know if they're true lucids or dreams about lucids. I don't want to bring up the whole argument about dreaming about lucids vs. real lucidity, but I WOULD like to know which this is (assuming that there is a difference). Basically, my dreams seem kinda vivid, but the stuff I choose to do is not what I'd choose to do in real life. Is this something that can be changed with practice, or does this mean that it's not a true lucid? For example (and this was last night), I'm in a diner. People are coming after me. I am thinking about running away when I see the Jonas Brothers in the booth next to me and become lucid. I hurl some insults their way (which I probably WOULD do, but that's probably the only thing in the whole dream like that), then go to the kitchen to eat bacon before hiding in a magical shed that appeared out of nowhere. Now, if I were in COMPLETE control, I would have rubbed my hands together to make the dream more vivid before summoning a shotgun (or at least picking up a chair) and fighting off the hitmen. Is this a real lucid dream, and if so, what should I do to be more conscious of my ideal actions during it?

Lucidity is purely becoming aware of the fact you are dreaming.

This is completely different to Dream Control.

I have had many lucid dreams, but the amount of control I have varies.

For example, last night I was having an unpleasant dream (that I don't quite remember) but then I became lucid. I wanted to change the scene but "knew" I couldn't. I had my hands over my face and I wanted to be able to remove my hands and have a completely different scene... but somehow I knew I wasn't going to be able to... so instead I removed my hands from my face and instructed all the dream characters to leave.

In this way I was able to have SOME control over the dream... but not complete "dream control".

Then I went about doing a couple of things I wanted to do before losing lucidity. Again, with SOME control, but not complete control.

My level of dream control varies from dream to dream.
Lucid Dream Goal: Give a dream character a flower and jump off the Sky Tower.

Recorded Lucids since joining: 3 DILD, 1 WILD
I often have other lucids that I forget or that I don't record for whatever reason.
Lucid Tasks Completed: 2 Basic (but one was a month too late)
