      How to stabilize

This is my first post and ive been trying to become lucid for about 2 weeks now. Last night i, technically, had my first lucid dream. I was aware of the fact that i was dreaming but i had that really hazy feeling and i didnt control the dream like i had planned to in the event that i had a LD. Then i had a false awakening and then i actually woke up. What could i have done differently?

      Thanks
