      Someone please help me?

OK, well for two nights so far, I've been drifting off to sleep, and I'll suddenly wake up and see spiders, aliens, and a really freaky half-horse half human monster. In the visual, he acts like hes trying to push me back into bed, but he goes through me. I usually freak out and run downstairs, flick the light on and calm down, and everything returns to normal.. Any idea what this is? I'm scared out of my mind to go to bed tonight.

so, assuming you have these hallucinations and it's indeed while you're awake and not an false awakening/dream then, I don't remember the name, it's the opposite of hypnogogic- Shift knows it, basically you wake up with your consiousness still in dream-mode. Unlike hypnogogy though it won't help you have lucid dreams and actually is not a good thing to have and it's best to try to remain calm while in such a state
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

      USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!

Reoccurring dreams are amongst the most obvious dream signs! You can use this to your benefit to turn your nightmare into a lucid dream! Control your fear, turn it into certainty, and the will to control your dream!

I know this is difficult, but you must over come your nightmares if possible. Think about what you could do to turn the nightmare into a dream. i recommend spinning ! As soon as your nightmare starts, think of a happy, beautiful, blissful place, and spin as fast as you can, and say out very loudly in your dream "Now Im going to go somewhere wonderful, nothing can harm me! I AM LUCID!" Dont stop spinning atleast till you are somewhere else.

If the experience is too much for you to handle, just close your eyes and fall back onto your bed, and you should wake up.

      Hope this helps,

      It's called 'hypnopompic'.

And Kane, I don't really think that helps, because he stated that he's awake while he sees those things.

I used to experience this so often as a child, I learned they weren't real by default, even before I started lucid dreaming. For me it was always shadowy figures just outside my vision, or the sensation of someone sitting on the bed behind me when I couldn't move (now that is creepy!). I learned not to fear them. Maybe this will help you.
