      Writing a novel

for the last few months i've been writing a fiction story with the main basis around lucid dreaming and the characters conflict between waking life and lucid dreaming. I'm actually really excited about writing it and expect it to be done in about 8 months, time permitting.

to the point, every once in a while i want to post a few scenes here to get some criticism concerning the story, writing style, etc.. Granted, if it is good or bad i would love to get some feedback from this community. i will post a scene in this thread within the next few weeks hopefully.

I'm in. I dont visit the site that often, but would look forward to reading it.

I wish you every success but, I think it might only appeal to people that actually have Lucid Dreams. I find that the mass populos are fairly indeifferent because having not expereienced LD's, they dont realise how intensley profound the feeling is (maybe a good angle for your protaganist).

Please dont feel discouraged however. I would love to read it. And if it can raise the profile of LD's mores the better. If you want any ideas, then please send me a PM.

Looking forward to your first scene.

this was definitely the hardest part for my to try and work through; trying to show lucid dreaming in a way that people can understand without completely dominating the plot and characters. i'm a good hundred pages in and have had some people read it and they get the idea of lucid dreaming which helped me to develop my main character more. so i hope it turns out to be a good read. thanks for the encouragement! if it turns out pretty decent, i plan on releasing a full, free version here. because who likes paying for stuff?

If it turns out decent, you should try to publish it. You'll never get as much audience for your book and your ideas online, as you could with the help of a good publishing house interested in your lucid dreaming topic.

I wouldn't say it, but if you're over 100 pages already, you really like to write
