3 LDs in a row, lost "powers" after

I had an LD last night where I was just rampaging around town, with super strength, and flight, and i was trying to shoot lightning out of my hands, like the sith, but couldn't get that to work....

so after that, I had a false awakening where after a while i realized I must still be dreaming, and then this happened a third time. Each successive dream though I lost the ability of flight, willing stuff to happen, and all that jazz. Basically, I was still lucid but kept losing control.

What determines the amount of control in a dream? It definitely doesn't seem to be my state of lucidity.

For me, control is mindset. If a power doesn't work, say "this is a lucid dream, dammit. If I want to shoot lightning, I will." And keep trying. Stabilize as well, that sometimes helps.

I definitely agree with Del, here. It's mindset- for sure.

Also, you can try out a thing like passive control. (Give reasons for your powers instead of forcing them.)

Example: -You shoot lightning like a sith. Well, your dream avatar just graduated from the sith academy on Korriban, of course you can shoot lightning!
-Want to fly? Well, you have your trusty jet-pack on you at all times, so that shouldn't be a problem.

      That's one possible solution, anyways.

Hahaha, I like the jet-pack idea...let's just hope device failure isn't common in your dreams though
