praying and dreaming

Hey all, I am new to this site but have always been fascinated by the notion of dreaming, what it is, etc.. Something I do experience fairly often is answered prayers, and I just connected today that there seems to be a relationship between those answered prayers and 'sleeping on it' (if that makes sense to anyone?). I have a practice of praying about relationship problems, i.e., issues I am having with another individual. My prayers have progressed over time to where I am not praying to anyone specifically (I haven't the foggiest who's on the other end or if there is someone on the receiving end, and realize it may indeed be me). Thing is, I experience affected relationship through praying so often that I cannot dismiss it, indeed, it has become a practice because it works. The way it typically 'works' is I simply consciously "pray" (for lack of better terms) about the issue I am having with a person, think it through, analyze it, but am specifically asking for resolution. Very often, the next day it is as if I have had the actual conversation with the person I have prayed about and what was a dispute has been resolved. Not sure I am saying this well, but I am theorizing that somehow we connect with others while asleep.

Has anyone ever tried praying in a dream? I guess it would be like praying in real life, except that God might reply back. I know it would be just the creation of your mind, but it would still feel cool to see what our minds can come up with.

According to Buddhism there is a connection between people in dreams - also Eckhart Tolle, who is greatly influenced of Buddhism, is speaking of a connected consciousness throughout the world. So your experiences backs that theory up.

I sometimes "pray" to have LD's, a sort of MILD. Since I'm mostly a Buddhist that might not make sense but it seems to work sometimes- you can pray to anything, say, God, Your Subconsciousness, your DJ as long as it has deep emotional value for you.
