      A question about DEILDing.

I've heard that a DEILD is quite similar to a WILD except you do it after waking up from a previous dream. I've read the tutorials on it, and tried it for the first time last night. It seems the best method for me, because I always wake up a few times in the morning hours and always fall back asleep and have the most vivid dreams then. I also have failed to notice a dreamsign (Granted I'm probably not looking hard enough). The problem is, I always tend to fall asleep too quickly for me to register that I need to remember that a dream is coming up. I tried at least two or three times. . .

However, each time I tried it last night, I managed to find myself in the exact same dreamscape as before. I just somehow forgot that I was going to be dreaming. Is this a start? What can I do to improve me noticing that I'm dreaming? Any help is appreciated!

Isn't that exactly what you mean to do
(And you're right to be doing it )

I think it's a start, but I am by no means an expert.
Have you read this guide? There are links to other tutorials at the bottom. Personally I found the one written by ninja9578 to be very comprehensive.
You can also try to PM him directly with questions you have, if posting in a separate thread does not produce the desirable results... :p

if you're falling asleep too quickly you could use FILD in conjunction with DEILD to keep your mind awake.

Hmm. . .I haven't read that one yet, actually. I think I read a different one somewhere. There are SO many different tutorials and guides and stuff. XD Thank you!

EDIT: Oh, FILD. . .I haven't read that one yet. o_o That looks very promising. Thank you very much!

      DEILDS are great.
I don't find them much use if I naturally wake from a non-lucid dream, as
by that point I've probably moved.

But If I wake up from a lucid, I can DEILD back into a dream.

Once I must have chained about 15 DEILDs, because my wife kept bumping me and waking me.

At the end I had to give up though, as I was getting a bit bored with repeated false awakenings and the the like.
      Lucid Dreams:-
      MILD/DILD: 79
      WILD: 13
      DEILD:13
      (TOTAL: 108 )
