How long was your longest LD?

Mine were 15 Seconds..maybe 20...But im a Beginner, what are the numbers of the more experianced people?

I don't know why, but as soon as I read your question, I knew you were German. I think it was the "how long lastet". Anyway, my longest lucid dreams were about 5-10 seconds long; nothing thrilling to be honest.

Ive had a few that im pretty sure lasted 30 minutes at least. those are not very frequent though.

My longest one was about 15 minutes long. My second longest was 10, and the others were all about 5 minutes.

yellowlight i like that ld stats box you have as your sig...care to reveal how you made that? I made it in Adobe After Effects. It's not hard at all. Just add a gradient, a flare, text and some red X's. I didn't use Photoshop because I don't know how to.

My longest one is around 1-2 minutes. They never last long enough for me to get out of my neighborhood though.

I had one that seemed like it lasted several hours. Definately my favorite one; It took up over 5 pages in my written dream journal.

wow hazel, how long are you practicing? A little over two years now. Most of my lucids aren't nearly that long, though. Mostly they are anywhere around 5-15 minutes. (And the one that seemed like it lasted hours could not possibly have been that long in reality, but that's what it seemed like in the dream.)

This is interesting. . . When I have lucid dreams (And I've only had three or four good ones), they also seem to only last about 5-10 minutes long. I always thought that was very small amount of time in comparison. . .was I wrong? <.>

as i first heard about lucid dreaming i thought that you are lucid 2-3 hours / night but it seems that 10 minutes are already long...

i thought i read something in Stephans book about tibetian monks that said that people who dont LD just have a half Life because they are missing the whole night when sleeping...so i thought LD last longer ^^

No, REM cycles don't even last that long. It's possible to have a dream that seems like it lasts hours, but really it's much shorter. Id agree with that. I think I'm managed 30-45 minutes on the odd occasion. It really is hard to tell.

I had one when I was really young, about saving Santa and Christmas. That lasted a whole two hours (well, felt like a whole two hours).

My longest single LD was about 30 minutes long, real time (I checked the clock before the WILD and after). The longest stringed Lucid Dream (a dream I kept going through a combination of straight up WILDs and, more specifically, DEILDs) I've had was six LDs long that took place in a 2 hour 30 minute time frame. I attribute about 30 minutes of that time to being awake. So, yeah. About 2 hours for meh, if you count stringed LDs. 30 minutes if you don't.
