      Really Disturbing/Creepy Lucid Dream

Hey. So since the school year is finally winding down and I can sleep late on weekends I have started having lucid dreams again. So this morning I kept getting woken up by my parents talking, as usual, so I was drifting in and out of sleep. I don't remember how, but somehow I gained lucidity in one of my dreams

I remember not being able to see ANYTHING. It's not that my eyes were closed, but instead that there were no dream surroundings at all. I was just stuck in a gray oblivion with nothing there... I eventually thought to rub my hands and spin around, and as I did so I could see the beginning of a dream environment form around me (a very very cool experience). After a good deal of spinning the dream environment finally materialized - but not one that I would want.

I was cast into a monochromatic world, whose mood was very very similar to the mood in Sweeney Todd (which is wierd since I havent seen/thought about that movie in a long time). I could see a gray, gloomy, creepy, dimly lit backdrop of some type of strange city with rectangular building or objects. The whole layout of the place made no sense, there were high cube-like objects then holes in the ground that you could go in... it was truly wierd. However, the most disturbing part of all was there were entities flying all around the city, and they all looked the same! They were circular, gray heads with what looked like a blanket/robe hanging off of them. They flew around the city at an angle, not talking or interacting but mindlessly wandering with their blank circular heads in random directions... I slowly lost lucidity and eventually woke up. After a bit of thinking I realized that it seemed an awful like the description of Purgatory. I don't believe in Purgatory so I'm not going to say I visited it in a dream, but it was definitely a strange/cool experience...

I know that feeling. I never let creepy areas get to me. Because I know that in my world, an incoming battalion of tanks backed up with artillery and a flaming taco rifle are under my control and at my mercy. (P.S. I don't believe in Purgatory either. I'm not religious, actually.)

Sounds like something Tim Burton would dream, actually.

Interesting that everything was monochromatic, I think there was a thread relating to colors and color schemes in dreams around here somewhere, you might want to post a link to this post in that thread. I can't seem to find it at the moment, but I'll edit this post when I do.

      OP. that's a wild dream.
Sell the idea to Tim Burton, make millions. Buy a lucid facility.
Have lucids every night. Make new ideas.
