      Canīt stop dreaming about her

I have praktis lucid dreaming for half a year or so.
In the begining it was just for fun, but i didnīt took me long to discover what i could do with LD, in the dreams i could be with the woman i loved/love, in the real world i canīt (she is dead).

Now itīs become are problem for me, agian and agian i seek her in my dreams. Some times i hope i could sleep for the rest of my life, just to be with he. I know it sounds crazy, and i know she is just a illusion.

Anyone reconize my problem? What the hell am i going to do, it is tearing me apart.

I think many lucid dreamers here can relate ^^ In the matter of fact there's a whole thread dedicated to people who've, at one point or another, tried to have certain feelings attached to a person in a dream. It could be anyting from a real person, or a dream person that actually don't exist in real life.

I've tried it myself, and it's weird how attached we can become to things in dreams, the feelings you can experience in dreams can be extremely strong, sometimes even stronger than what you've ever experienced in real life. This can create certain problems because we now how another kind of "reality" to seek, and it's very accessible for us.

That leads to one final question, what do we choose to do with this? We all know you can't live your life through dreams... obviously. What you experience in your dreams might feel very real, which is why we are more likely to overule/live with the fact that it's an illusion, because it's a very good one

And with the fact that she's dead(I'm so sorry to hear this)I don't think there's simple answers/solutions to it, it's more about(and this isn't meant as an offence), man up and deal with the fact that in the end, it is nothing, and it will always be nothing. You won't get anywhere with it, never. Face that fact, and get on with your life, go out and meet new awesome people Life throws unpleasent things in our face, it's all about keep on moving along! Keep doing what you're currently doing and you'll end up in an evil circle. Refer to that one question... what do you wanna do with it? ^^ It's your own choice in the end.

      Good luck to you!

Don't sleep for the rest of your life, but definitely use your dreams for whatever it is you want. Improving your lucid dreaming ability will let you improve the time you have with your memories of her in your dreams. If it brings you happiness and helps you find closure, good for you.

Yes, this is definitely also a good point. You CAN use the dreams as some sort of closure, as long as it is done in a healthy manner
