Sleeping in places other than your own bed?

I have been busy with school recently so my dream recall hasn't been that great and i haven't had a lucid dream for about a month, until last night.
Last night i slept on a couch in my basement instead of on my bed and i had one of the best lucid dreams i have ever had.

So i was wondering if sleeping in other places effects your chances of having a lucid dream.

From personal understanding I find that sleeping in a new location helps lucidity blossom, because your mind is adjusting to the change in environment its more aware and alert rather than when you sleep in the same bed for years. You turn off before you go sleep, because you are conscious of your surroundings but when you nap somewhere your not familiar with your emotions and response are finely tuned and sharp. Imagine the moment when u are sleeping in another location, for example in the spare from of your friends house. You do feel your perceptions are altered, you look up to the ceiling, you might not have an alarm clock, the smell might be different, the bedding has a strange odour and texture, the window is unfamiliar etc (the list could go on and on). On a subconscious level these are new senses, information if you like for the brain.

I love to sleep in a new location, its much more fun than sleeping in the same old places for years, when my parents go on holiday I always sleep in their bed, I wake up with the most vivid dreams I can imagine.
