My brain needs a 3d accelerator...

Heres an interesting one that i discovered during my last nap,
wonder if anyone has made a similar experience:

So i realized that i was dreaming standing in front of a bookshelf.
I was eager to try out my telekinesis skills so i tried to pull out one book
from there jedi-style and it worked!
sweet! so then i went for the whole shelf to make it tip over.
I was excited to see what kind of books were in there.
It began to lean over and just as the books shouldve started to
fall out of the shelf the whole picture in my mind collapsed.
Sounds retarded but it felt as if my brain couldn't provide so much detail to maintain the visuals within the dream...
In real life i usually pay good attention to detail so i was a bit dissappointed
that i couldnt recreate that inside a dream.

Anyone has made similar experiences? Have you gotten better at visualizing
      "heavy scenes"?
      Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I don't think your problem was a lack of ability to process the details... our brain is unbelievable at it. It can process anything you throw at it, the dreams probably ended due to a lack of stability for different reasons. It would take far more than a falling book case to overload your brain

yeah that was actually you "thinking" that your brain couldn't do it. Just the other night I was going around the city collapsing buildings and moving thousands of small bricks with telekinesis.

Going off topic a bit, but I find the old old brain=processor analogy is getting a bit spurious.

How many people have tried to justify "dream time dilation" with the claim that its surely possible if you can up your brains processor speed.
"Yeah...I just upgraded my brain to the new Intel chip!"

As to the dream, could be you were just getting a bit too excited.
Dreams aren't that stable usually anyway. Just turning around can bring you somewhere new.

I think its just yourself thinking your not capable of displaying things. Pretend you installed a like super expensive machine to your brain that processes certain images or something. Use your imagination.

Your brain could easily create new scenes. I think instability is the culprit, as stated before. I think trying to think too hard about the next scene is also bad. Just let it flow naturally.

i think he just wasn't simply lucid enough.

i suggest work on stablizastion of the dream as soon as you realize you are dreaming. focus on something, gain clarity, i have gotten surprising results. i could notice how detailed the leaves were on a tree with the sun beating against it. beautiful shit.

also don't ever think your mind will overload. your capacity of imagenation is as big as you make it. we don't come with a limit unless we limit ourselves.
