Thread: My first lucid... i had some problems :P

First off, i can't remember much about the dream, i do recall that i went lucid by pinching my nose but still being able to breath through it which is something i do randomly throughout the day in the hopes i will do it in my dream. When i became lucid everything went incredibly bright so i shut my eyes. After a few seconds i opened them and it was back to normal lighting and i was someplace else.

At this point i was very excited at the fact i could do whatever the hell i wanted, but wasn't sure how to make things appear or happen or how to change the situation etc. so i tried just vocalising what i wanted but was unable to speak for quite a while and when i finally could speak again nothing happened when i spoke out what i wanted. I tried shutting my eyes and thinking of what i wanted but still nothing.

Then a massive alien appeared, it was kind of like a locust from the video game Gears of War I just said that this is my dream and that it wasn't a part of it and ignored it. thankfully it didn't rip my head off. It just stood there frozen after that.

Anyway, anyone have any advice for how i can make things happen in my dreams and how to better remember them?
