      Dream checks?.

I had a false awakening again this morning, I was dreaming that i got up& went downstairs just as i would normally. I saw my dad sitting at the table& i asked him if he would like a cup of tea he said he would love one but the kettle had broken. This was when i thought i may of been dreaming.. So i thought i'd do some dream checks i went upto the kettle& switched it on, it worked? & then i went over to the washer switched that on& that came on to?. I thought electrical things shouldn't work as they would in normal life when dreaming? it confused me. i didnt no wether i was still dreaming or in fact awake. I woke up shortly afterwards. Thoughts& comments appreciated& Thank~you for reading my post ♥

Well personaly I have turned on machines before in my dream so I think it's up to your imagination wether a machine is usable or not. What you should have done was a reality check you done on yourself, for example the pinching your nose technique and reading a text twice to see if it stays the same. Dreams have infinite possibilities my friend .

Electronics not being able to work in dreams is a myth. Based on common belief it is unlikely that they will work correctly.

For example, every time I flip a light switch in a dream, it fails to turn a light. And yet Ipods, alarm clocks, and cell phones work perfectly fine. It's just a common phenomenon people have noticed. However, it's different with everyone. I suggest trying other reality checks. They're more reliable IMO.
      It was familiar to me
The smoke too thick to breathe
      The tile floors glistened
      I slowly stirred my drink

Yeah, electronics can both work, or not work. Or work in a way you would not expect them to.

For example: The other night in a dream I was trying to turn off a kitchen light switch. Instead of turning off the light in the kitchen, the switch was controlling the light in the living room. Almost got Lucid in that one, but got distracted and forgot to RC.

I had another dream where I was living in an apartment, and was trying to turn off all the lights before leaving. I was able to turn off the lights fine, but every time I turned around they would be back on again. At first I thought the place was haunted or something. But then I did a reality check and became Lucid.
