Absolutely yes. |

To think of it I haven't been having lucid dreams in about 2 years now. I used to read stuff on this forum a fair bit and I was having LD's every night. I bet now that I'm talking about it I'll have one tonight. Anyone else notice that? The more you think about them the more you have them. |

Agreed! |

Whenever your thinking, just remember thoughts become things.

Not for me. I have LD's at the most random moments. |
|
The only time i was having them regularly was when I thought of them often. |
|
I agree. For me, there is about a week delay. I dream about stuff from a week ago. I benefit from my reality checks a week late. Very odd. |

What works for me is coming to this forum and reading through it right before i go to bed, then i think of what i want to lucid dream about. I think to myself i will lucid dream, i will know that i'm dreaming, i've done this for two days and it worked for two straight days in fact, i had 3 lucids in two days. Not exactly what i wanted to lucid dream about but, they were lucids because i knew that i was dreaming. And in one of the dreams, to stabalize, i touched this tree, like other people say and the tutorals say try touching something and really feeling it to stabalize, it might work for you. I block out all other thoughts right before i go to bed and i just think to myself, i will lucid dream and i will know that i am dreaming. |

Thinking about LD's has always benefited me. Just keeping your mind on the subject helps. |

I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
One can only hope! *fingers crossed* |

well it can become a fine line. Because if one thinks to much about having or wanting a lucid dream while they are trying to sleep, can keep them awake and not have a full deep sleep. This is because thier thoughts are so much concentrated on Lucid dreams that sleep and and a dream itself may never occur that night. Though, believing and having that confidence that you know you will have a lucid dream helps a lot. Thinking about lucid dreams does help. I just thought I would mention when the thinking becomes to intense and at the wrong moment. Thinking about lucid dreams in a way to which what you want to do in that lucid dream helps as well. |

I was a natural lucid dreamer over 4 years ago, but then started to do it a lot when I actually read about it. After a year, my LDing suddenly vanished. I winded up only having one LD every one or two months. I was thinking about it at least a few times a week, for almost three years. Soon after I completely truly gave up on it, it just suddenly came back this summer. I'm having at least 3 LDs a week without even trying, at least the LDs I can remember. So, from my current experiences, thinking about it gets me nowhere. I don't really take advantage of them, I just wander around. I just let it flow. |
|
I had 3 LDs in my whole life, then I joined these forums and had 7 in a month, no WILDs, no tricks, just subconscious inspiring DILD awareness. |
|
Yes thinking about them helps but like Erin said having confidence is very important, one of the most important things. Thinking about lucid dreaming all day should have you thinking about lding in your dreams and that should help you become lucid. |
|
Lucid dreaming is always on my mind when I go back to bed. I'm sure when school starts back, however, that it'll be all about having to wake up early |
|
Lucid dreaming makes for a wonderful night's play.
It is a good thing to read DJ or surf these forums before you go sleep |

Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.
I try to think of it when ever i try wbtb of any kind such as right now, browsing these forums help to do just that. |
