Okay, so I recently used the HILD method described in the tutorial on this site. The particular method described in this tutorial involves saying to yourself, "...all that matters is that every night I have a LONG, VIVID, REALISTIC, HIGHLY LUCID dream." Last night (after performing the self-hypnosis) I fell asleep, and had a frustrating (and now annoying) dream.

I was standing in the middle of a wide cobblestone street, in what looked like London. It was raining, and people passing me were holding black umbrellas and were dressed in tuxes, suitcoats, and the like. Standing in front of me were four men, all dressed up like the others. The first one steps up to me and says, "LONG." He steps back, and the second guy steps up to me, and says, "VIVID." Then he steps back, and the third guy steps up and says, "REALISTIC." He steps back, and the fourth guy steps up and mumbles something. I say, "What?", And all four laugh histerically. This is repeated over and over again until I got so frustrated that I woke up. Needless to say I was angry when I realised what the fourth guy was trying to say: "HIGHLY LUCID." Well, 3 outta 4 ain't bad; the dream was long, vivid, and realistic
