Lucid dream compared to normal dream perception

The main point of this topic is so i can indulge a curiosity about how other people remember their lucid dreams as compared to a non lucid dream. For me when i remember a non lucid dream it feels as though it is a distant memory or something like a movie, even though i remember being physicaly there it just doesnt feel like i was really experiencing anything. Now when i become lucid in a dream it feels almost if not exactly like i am there, when i wake up i dont have to fight to remember the dream it feels like those events and experiences actually happened, unlike in my non lucid dreams where i have to actually try to remember the dream in the morning and then when i do it doesnt feel like i did what i remember. i suppose the best analogy would be waking up after an evening of massive drinking. you dont really remember anything and then when you do you its just like "wow did i really do that?" i just wonder if everyone percieves their lucid and non lucid dreams in the same way or if everyone is different in this matter

It is impossible to know whether we remember lucid dreams more than normal dreams. But personally when I have a lucid dream, when I wake up, it tends to stay fresh in my memory a lot longer and clearer, so I just make the assumption that I remember lucid dreams more that normal dreams. But, as I said, it is impossible to know for sure, because for all I know I could have had a million LDs that I have forgotten by now and just a few normal dreams which I remember.
